Situated in the idyllic setting of Finchampstead, The Queens Oak offers excellent, wholesome pub food in a warm, informal and friendly environment. The pub has great charm and retains many original features. There is also an ample garden with play area and a paved outdoor area perfect for the frequent barbecues in summer.
The menu is full of traditional pub food favourites and there is an excellent choice of vegetarian main courses (including a couple of Quorn dishes). Portions are very generous and the food is deliciously satisfying.
This country pub, formerly The White Horse, was renamed by Queen Victoria, who planted the large oak tree on the green opposite the pub. It is the only pub in the country named The Queens Oak.
For good pub food in a relaxed atmosphere, with a little piece of history mixed in, visit The Queens Oak.
